This morning Allyson and I were watching Good Morning America and they said something about America. She said "Mommy, they said America, today is America's birthday!" I told her she was right, and asked where she learned that. She said, school. My teacher teached me that.
Today, we had Nana, Poppa and Grandma Nicholls over for lunch. We enjoyed spending time with them and they enjoyed watching Allyson play on her new waterslide. Tonight, Grandma and PeePaw got back from a 17 day trip! They stopped by for dinner and brought goodies to the kids from abroad! We had a great 4th of July!

Allyson and Hoppy her Build-a-Bear Bunny in matching dresses! When I pulled it out of the closet she was so excited about her new dress, and even more excited when she saw that it had a dress for her doll.

Today, we set up a waterslide for Allyson to play on. She slid down it once, got water in her face, and didn't want to slide any more. She just wanted to play in the water at the end. Finally, she tried it again, but wanted Nana or Daddy to hold her hand. Soon enough she was doing it all by herself! She had so much fun today.
Lizzie was very concerned about all the screaming Allyson was doing! She was having so much fun, but Lizzie didn't like that she couldn't see what was going on.
Now that just looks like way too much fun!! Glad ya'll had a great holiday.
