Gingerbread Workshop!

Today, Allyson and I had a mommy/ daughter day! We went to the library to get some new books, Chick-Fil-A for lunch, the Holiday Market for the Gingerbread Workshop and a little shopping! We had a great day, only a few little fits, but they were at the end of the day. The fact that she fell asleep after we had been in the car for 5 minutes explained the fits!

Fireman Daddy

This year Allyson is in PreK! I can't believe it! October is fire safety month and Mrs. Petty asked if Jason would come to school and bring his gear and talk to the kids. Allyson was so excited her daddy was at school. She wore her Station 5 shirt and was excited to match her daddy! Jason told the kids about all the parts of his gear, a little about fire safety, put his gear on to show them what he looked like in it and then let each of them try it on. The kids loved it, especially Allyson! She was so excited that he was there and it was the first time she had seen him in his gear.
