Darwie's 84th Birthday

Allyson was very excited about Darwie's birthday party! She sang to him, but liked eating the candles the best!!! And yes, I said eating the candles. She licked all the icing off the #8 candle and then took a big bite out of it. She quickly spit it out. It didn't deter her, because next she asked us for the 4. We were all shocked, because no one told her it was a 4. The little stinker, I know she is smart, she is just stubborn!

28 weeks!!!

March 8, 2009 - I am 28 weeks pregnant! Allyson is excited about her baby brother!

Bluebonnets

The Antilley Family in the bluebonnets! Allyson and Grandma worked very hard to spread bluebonnet seeds in the fall, and now they have started popping up!!!

Baby Brother's furniture

Well my office is now officially baby brother's room! Jason painted and cleaned the carpet this week and picked the furniture up on Friday. When I got home he had the furniture set up! Aunt Robin picked Allyson up from Delann's and told her that the daddy had gotten brother's furniture today. She was so excited and said he came out! Robin told her not yet. When she got home she climbed on the bed and opened and closed all the drawer to the dresser several times! I went in there last night and she was putting stuff in what she calls the tool box. There is a place to put the diapers and she thinks it is a great place to put her jewelery and things.

Build-a-Bear

Allyson and I went to the mall today and while we were there, we made Hoppy the bunny at Build-a-Bear. Allyson was excited and I was overwhelmed!

That place is a zoo!!!

It is still a baby boy!

Today, we had another ultrasound! In December, they couldn't get a good view of his spine, so my doctor wanted us to get another one to make sure everything was ok. It was, and gave us another opportunity to see our little man again!!!

making cookies

Today, Allyson and I made cookies! More mess was made than cookies, but Allyson had so much fun playing with the flour and the dough. We took some cookies to PePaw since he was sad about Smokey.

Big Girl Bed!!!

Allyson decided she was ready for her big girl bed. She told me the other day that baby's slept in cribs and that she wasn't a baby. This is very true, but I figured as long as she was happy in her crib, I would leave her in it!!! Sunday, Jason turned her crib into a toddler bed. She was excited and even helped with the process. We need to get her new bedding and redo her room! She has done a pretty good job staying in it, but stays better when daddy tells not to get up than when mommy does. When she wakes up in the morning she calls us to come get her. Last night I woke up and I looked at the video monitor that shows her room, and she wasn't in her bed. I got up and went to look for her. She was on the floor next to her bed with her blanket. I picked her up and put her back in the bed. I don't think she even knew she fell out of it. (Allyson is pretending to be asleep in these pictures!)

We haven't had much to blog about lately, but Allyson has been on a role lately!!! She just told her daddy that we were her best friends. We need to remind her of that in a few years when she is a teenager!!!
If you ask her, her belly is getting bigger, because her baby is growing like mommy's. There is no correcting her either, there is a baby in her tummy too!
After church Sunday, she was going to go home with Grandma and PeePaw, but she wouldn't get in her car seat. So Grandma said if she didn't' get in her seat she was going to have to go home with mommy and daddy. She said OK, and Grandma said, we need to catch up to your daddy; Allyson, very seriously said, don't put ketchup on my daddy. A couple of nights ago she didn't eat her dinner and I told her she couldn't have ANYTHING else. She went to the refrigerator door and put her hand on the handle and asked why. I said because you didn't eat your dinner, now go play. She looked at me and said, Why Mother? (more like mudder). The look on her face broke me!! It was a pouty smirk that just said, I know what I am getting ready to say is funny. I laughed so hard. I was on the phone with my mom (Grandma) and she was laughing, so it didn't help. To cover, I said Grandma that was a funny story, so Allyson didn't think I was laughing at her, even though I was!!! Anyway, have a great week!

riding her bike...by herself!!!

Allyson talked Aunt Robbie and Uncle Scottie in to taking her outside to ride her bike. She did a great job!

Supermodel

Allyson love to dress up! Most of the outfits are quite interesting!!! She has started asking me to take her picture...I think we have warped her by taking 1000's of pictures of her since she was born!!!

Happy New Year

I can't believe it is 2009 already! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, we have been busy lately, but nothing overly exciting! Last night, Jason felt the baby kick!!! I have been able to feel him moving since Christmas, but last night was the first time I could touch my tummy and feel him. I was excited that Jason got to feel him. Of course, he stopped moving when Allyson tried to feel, but she said she felt him too. Later that night, she wanted us to touch her tummy and feel her baby!
