Feeding time!

Allyson decided the other night that she wanted to feed her brother. I said ok, thinking she wouldn't stick with it very long. She feed him his entire dinner. I don't know if he got more on him or in him, but she was proud of herself!

Blake was 8 months on January 19th. He is such a big boy. He crawls EVERYWHERE, pulls up and cruises around the furniture and wants to be right in the middle of everything. He is such a sweet baby boy!

Baileigh Marie!!!

I know that I haven't posted in a while and that I need to post pictures from all the Christmas activities we had going on, but this is more important than all of that!!! Today, I became an AUNT!!! Baileigh was born at 1:45 pm, weighed 7lb 1 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was just perfect! Allyson was so excited to meet Baileigh Rie (as she calls her)! She is a beautiful little girl with chubby cheeks! I can't wait to hug and snuggle her more!!!

The Blizzard of 2009

December 4th we had a HUGE blizzard in Montgomery, TX! Well ok, it was a few snow flakes and they didn't stick, but to us it was a blizzard! Allyson was so disappointed that she wasn't able to build a snowman. She was telling me all the things she needed to build him. A hat, carrot (a real one) buttons...

We put up our Christmas tree and Allyson kept wanting to take ornaments to her room to put on her tree. We convinced her to leave them on the big tree, and you can tell the ones that she put on!!!

my GOOD eater!!!

The first time I gave Allyson green beans she made a face and started gagging! She was only 5 months old and it was obvious she was her daddy's daughter when it came to eating! The three pictures below are of Allyson's reaction to green beans! Blake on the other hand...

...ate his green beans and didn't even notice they were any different from anything else he had eaten before!!! He eats green beans, peas and everything else like a champ! He is going to be my good eater! HOPEFULLY he will stay this way!

B is for Baileigh and Bubba

Allyson is very into helping right now. She wants to help with everything! She helped me with the letters for Baileigh's room, by painting the mod poge on each letter! She had so much fun and loved that I let her do it by herself!

Piano Man!

Allyson is "sharing" her piano with Blake. He loves being mobile and able to sit up and do things. He is growing up so fast.
