Allyson's first haircut!!!

Allyson is 4 years old and got her first haircut today! On our way there she told me she didn't want her hair cut and even said it when we were walking up. I told her she didn't have to get it cut if she didn't want to. Well, she did and afterward she told us it didn't even hurt. Maybe she thought it would...who knows what goes through her little head!

Before, her haircut!!!

Jellystone - part 2

Yes, I was on vacation with Jason and the kids. I think I am only in three pictures (which I am OK with)! Here are a few pictures on our last day.

Us in front of the Hey Hey Wagon

Every morning there is a fire truck ride through the campgrounds with Yogi. Unfortunately, Yogi ate too much candy and wasn't feeling good, and didn't make the trip! Allyson was disappointed she didn't get to tell him goodbye. It was fun and the driver ran the siren the whole time. If you weren't up by 10:30, you would be!

We made a overnight stop in Abilene. We stayed at Grandma and Granddad Antilley's house. That night we surprised Jeremy by picking him up for dinner. It was a quick trip, but it was good to see them.
Vacation tires a boy out...
and a girl...
and a daddy!!! Not really a daddy, he is pretending!
We had a fun week, but it was good to be home. My bed was definitely calling me! The camper was more comfortable than a sleeping bag, but it wasn't a Serta!!!

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

While in the Dallas area we met The Farris' at the Forth Worth Museum of Science and History. Allyson, Riley and Alex had fun running around and exploring the museum. Blake would have had fun too, except I wouldn't let him out of the stroller!!!

Rexy,Allyson, Alex and Riley outside of the museum!

The Fort Worth Children's Museum is in the FWMS&H. They had so much fun playing here, and it was hard to get them to leave to go see the rest of the museum.

Dr. Allyson inspecting her big mouth!!!

Shoppee girl! Allyson's favorite part of the CM - the grocery store!

Allyson touched the snake! I couldn't believe it!

Riley enjoyed this part of the museum. He went really fast!

Gig'em!!!

The museum had a very cool area on Leonard DaVinci. He invented so many things.

It was hard getting a picture of all four of them!!! But here you go, Allyson, Blake, Alex and Riley! The chair they are sitting in is so cool. It has each letter of the alphabet and each letter has a texture of something that starts with that letter. A had animals, R rope... After enjoying the museum we had four hunger kids and three hunger parents, so we took a little walk to McDonald's! I think that was Blake's favorite part of the day! I enjoyed spending the day with one of my best friends from college and her sweet kids! I wish we could do it more often!

Jellystone

We are going camping!!! Allyson is very excited about our vacation and Blake is just excited because she is excited!!!

This week we took a little road trip. We borrowed a camper and went to Burleson and stayed at Jellystone at Rustic Creek Ranch. We enjoyed camping, even though it wasn't really camping, since we were in a camper with AC, TV and not sleeping in a tent! I really recommend the campground! They are adding a ton of stuff for next summer, I think we will go back!

First stop after setting up camp was swimming and dinner at Ryan and Elisse's. We had a great time spending the afternoon in the pool and visiting. Allyson and Landon became best buddies! Since it was Jason's birthday, Elisse put a candle in what was left of Landon's cake and we sang Happy Birthday!! It was a fun day and I had two pooped kids afterward!

Allyson and Landon

Our first night in the camper!!!

The second day we went to Grapevine Mills, swimming, to eat at Babe's YUMMY, and rode the Hey Hey Ride throughout the campgrounds!!!

The campgrounds had events for the kids throughout the day. Coloring with Yogi, hayride with Yogi... It took some convincing, but she ended up hugging Yogi!!! She talked about him all day and then wouldn't go near him. She mustard up the courage! Blake wasn't as easily convinced.

Shopping is hard work!!!

Blake was asleep when I got to Target, so I just made him comfy. He looked so sweet! When he woke up, he wasn't quite sure where he was.

Blake rocking out and showing his signs!

I have started really working with Blake on his sign language. He is picking the words up pretty fast. Since he doesn't know many words, he signs more when he wants something. I guess it is the universal sign!

The Greatest Show on Earth!!!

July 15, 2010 - Grandma, Pepaw, Jason, Allyson, Blake and I went to see the Greatest Show on Earth!! The Ringling Brothers and Barnum &Bailey Circus!!! Allyson was excited, but not excited to see the clowns! Blake was excited, but didn't know what he was excited about! Allyson sang, Take me out to the Circus... all the way there!

Allyson and PePaw heading to the circus!
Blake and Daddy!

Allyson spotted the first clown
She wouldn't even get her picture made with the pretty girl
Blake didn't know what to think about all the clowns. He was to busy looking at the ones behind me to notice there was one next to him. Jason is excited!!

Blake - waiting for it to start
Allyson, Grandma and PePaw waiting...
Blake figured out his spinning light! He loved it!!!

After the Circus! Allyson is such a sweet big sister!
