I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream

Yesterday morning after breakfast, we decide to take a little road trip. We drove to Brenham to visit the Blue Bell Creamery. It was fun and neat seeing how ice cream was made. Allyson liked the chocolate ice cream she got the best. I forgot to take pictures of us eating our ice cream...I was too busy eating mine! Afterward, we went to lunch and then to ride go-karts.

My childhood friend Jamie and her family stopped by on their way home from Galveston. I took some cute pictures of our girls. I need to find pictures of Jamie and I when we were little to add to this post! We have have been friends since I was two and she was three!!!

Houston Fire Museum

While we were downtown we decided to take Allyson to the Houston Fire Museum. She liked sliding down the pole and really like the fire truck and bunker gear.

The Newquarium..aka Downtown Aquarium

Jason, Allyson and I went to the Newquarium (that is what Allyson calls it)...aka the Downtown Aquarium. We decided to spend the day with just Allyson, and I think she like having us all to herself! We went through the awesome aquarium, ate at the restaurant, rode the train through the shark tank and rode the carousel. We were disappointed because the Ferris wheel wasn't working! It was a fun day.
